I spent much more time playing Civ 5 this weekend than I'd planned. But that victory felt like it was worth it. Maybe I'll feel more motivated to do work and chores this week now that I feel I conquered the game.

I found somebody on the Internet claiming a similar kind of crash, that no matter what they try to do differently it crashes on the same turn at the same point, so early game over. I finished my second Civ 5 game before going to sleep last night. I played a so-called "quick" game of only 330 turns instead of 500 turns. Still took many many hours, especially on the huge fractal map with 22 civs and raging barbarians (though the barbarians were quickly crowded out by all the expanding civs ( Read more... )
